1. Who we are

TexMedia, LLC, doing business as Jordan Yates Marketing and Yates Marketing (collectively, “Yates Marketing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), provides B2B marketing, content creation, training, and the Yates Content Lab. We are based in Houston, Texas, and serve clients in the United States and elsewhere.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Depending on how you use our services, you may provide your name, email address, company, account and workspace information, project details, product or application information, messages, feedback, captions, review notes, and other content you enter.

Photos, videos, and audio

When you choose to record, take a photo, or select media from your library, the app processes the files you select. Media you send is uploaded to your private workspace so it can be reviewed, edited, delivered, and managed as part of the service.

Device and usage information

Our website, app, and service providers may process basic technical information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, request and error information, and security logs. We use this information to deliver, protect, troubleshoot, and improve the service—not for advertising.

Information stored on your device

Yates Content Lab may store an unfinished capture, your topic responses, setup preferences, tour progress, and your most recent app route on your device so you can resume where you left off. A local draft may remain until you send it, discard it, clear app data, or remove the app.

3. Camera, microphone, and photo permissions

Yates Content Lab asks for camera, microphone, or photo library access only when you choose a feature that needs it. Camera and microphone access is used to capture content. Photo library access is used to select existing media or save finished content when you request it. We do not request your contacts or precise location, and we do not continuously access your camera or microphone. You can change these permissions in your device settings.

4. How we use information

• Provide and operate the website, Content Lab, and client workspaces.
• Authenticate users and control access to the correct organization.
• Create assignments, save drafts, receive media, prepare edits, and deliver finished content.
• Send service messages about assignments, uploads, reviews, and account activity.
• Respond to questions, provide support, and communicate about our services.
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations.
• Improve the usability and reliability of our services.

5. Optional AI wording assistance

If you choose the Content Coach, the completed storyboard line and limited context needed to rewrite it are sent to OpenAI to create wording options. We configure these requests not to be stored as response objects by the application. Do not enter confidential customer information, trade secrets, or personal information that is not needed for the suggestion. The Content Coach is optional; the rest of the guided workflow remains available without it.

6. When we share information

We share information only as needed to provide the service, follow your instructions, protect our rights or users, or comply with law. That may include Jordan Yates Marketing personnel and contractors working on your content, authorized members of your organization's workspace, and the service providers below.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect safety or security, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or transfer of the business with appropriate protections. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose described in this policy, the client relationship, security, legal obligations, and legitimate business records. Raw uploaded footage is generally scheduled for removal after 90 days. Incomplete upload pieces may be removed after 24 hours. Finished content, project records, review history, and account records may be kept longer while the workspace or client relationship remains active or when needed to provide the service. Local drafts remain on the device as described above.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You may ask us to provide access to, correct, or delete personal information we control. Signed-in Content Lab users can delete their account directly from Account settings in the app. Deleting an account removes the sign-in, private notifications, usage records, uploads, and media owned by that user. Shared workspace history may be retained only in an anonymized form so the organization's workflow remains intact. You may also email us with privacy questions or requests. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information when required by law or necessary to protect rights and security.

9. Cookies and similar technology

We use cookies, session tokens, local storage, and similar technology that are necessary for sign-in, security, remembering app progress, and operating the service. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party ad trackers.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Keep your sign-in credentials private and contact us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

11. Children

Our services are designed for businesses and working professionals, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice when appropriate.
